Kennedy and his rocking chair moved in the White House, the nation has been going nowhere with dizzying speed". The brochure was aimed at raising funds for the Republican Party to combat a JFK re-election. Very few post 1960 inauguration anti/attack pieces exist since JFK's re-election campaign was obviously preempted by his Assassination. Original. two-sided, six panel brochure.

Still on the original sale card with sticker that includes Kennedy's famous "Ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country", althought cards certainly shows its age.

  14. John F Kennedy An American Belt Buckle Gift

    Absolutely massive, heavy and gawdy belt buckle that also happens to be very attractive!. Heavy 3.75" width buckle labeled "First Edition" numbered on the reverse and also engraved 24K GP on the reverse. The front features a John F. Kennedy gold plated commemorative coin in the center. At the top it says "An American" and beneath the portrait is an eagle with outstretched arms and 1917 - 1963 the year of JFK's birth and assassination below. On the left is an eagle and U.S. Flag and below that a graphic of PT109 and inscription that syas "March 1943 as Lieutenant was given command of PT-109. To the right of the coin is a U.S. space craft and the inscription May 1961 Proposed U.S. Space Program Land team on Moon. Original.

  21. Kennedy Assassination Dinner Ticket

    Original item from famous "Texas Welcome Dinner' that was scheduled to be held in Austin Texas on the date of John F.Kennedy's assassination. It was Kennedy's next stop in Texas and unfortunately had to be canceled due to the assassination of the President. This is the original ticket form sent to democratic contributors and VIP's to attend the event with Kennedy and Vice President Johnson. The event was sponsored by the Texas State Democratic Executive Committe. The order card and accompanying return envelope are both in excellent condition and both are included in this sale.
  22. Texas Welcome Dinner Program

    This is the program produced by the Texas Democrat Party to commemorate the event that was scheduled to be held in Austin Texas on the day of Kennedy's assassination. The event was obviously never held and souvenirs and remembrances from this event are coveted by collectors. The program was to be held in honor of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johson and their wives November 22, 1963 a the Munipal Auditorium, Austin Texas. Beautifully printed, with seals of the President, Vice President and Texas Governor John Connolly in bronze and black at the top. This program is not in perfect shape (see our description) so we have priced it much lower than we normally would, so it is an excellent opportunity to acquire this excellent historic item at a much lower investment.

    John F. Kennedy: Runnymede Memorial Dedication Book, 1965. Limited edition privately printed for Jacqueline Kennedy containing Queen Elizabeth's dedicatory remarks. Red Moroccan leather, 8" x 10.75," 18 pp, December 1965. On May 14, 1965, At the ceremony, attended by Jacqueline Kennedy, her children, Robert and Edward Kennedy and their families, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth said, "Here at Runnymede 750 years ago Magna Carta was signed. Among the earliest Statutes, it has rightly been regarded as the corner stone of those liberties which later became enshrined in our system of democratic Government under the rule of law. This is a part of the heritage which the people of the United States of America share with us. Therefore it is altogether fitting that this should be the site of Britain's memorial to the late President John F. Kennedy, for, as leader of his great nation, he championed liberty in an age when its very foundations were being threatened on a universal scale." Remarks delivered at the dedication by Former Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and US Secretary of State Dean Rusk. On the last page of the book are printed these words, Just one hundred copies of this volume were privately printed and bound for Mrs. John F. Kennedy. December, 1965. Truly fine original condition.

    Original Press badge ticket that grants press privileges to the Texas Welcome Dinner that was scheduled to beheld in Austin Texas on November 22, 1963 but cancelled when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Black and gold pass with white print bears says "Texas Welcome Dinner honoring President and Mrs. Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs. Johnson Sponsored by the State Democratic Executive Committee of Texas. Great historic John F. Kennedy and press/media item. This is a numbered badge with the original removable plastic holder still attached. Touch a piece of history.
  25. Kennedy Assassination Trade Mart Collectible

    A scarce and sought after raised invitation to the event that John F. Kennedy was scheduled to appear at in Dallas Texas on November 22, 1963 the day of the President's assassination. It is numbered on reverse. In 1967, someone, on the day of the issuance of a U.S. Postage stamp affixed the postage stamp to the upper right of the invitation and had it postmarked at a postal substation in Dallas Texas, where the assassination occurred. Truly a remarkable bit of history.
  26. Kennedy Assassination Trade Mart Invitation

    A scarce and sought after invitation to the event that John F. Kennedy was scheduled to appear at in Dallas Texas on November 22, 1963 the day of the President's assassination. President Kennedy was on his way to the Trade Mart luncheon to be held in his honor when he was shot. This is a numbered invitation (see reverse) On the front of the invitation is the John F. Kennedy memorial stamp that was later affixed and postmarked on the First Day of Issue, in Dallas Texas, the scene of his assassination. Truly a remarkable bit of history. The invitation includes a business card from Bert Shipp of WFAA-TV 8. Shipp who was an iconic Texas news reporter, and worked for one of the stations covering Kennedy's arrival in Texas.
  27. Texas Welcome Dinner Invitation

    This is an original invitation to perhaps the most famous event that never took place. The Texas Welcome Dinner schedule for November 22nd 1963 in Austin Texas. President John F. Kennedy was headed next to Austin for this event sponsored by The State Democratic Executive Committee. The young President was assassinated that day and the event never took place. This is an original and official invitation to the event that includes the original envelope mailed November 6th from Austin Texas to a business owner in Texas and forwarded to their new address in Wichita Falls on November 11th. It is not known whether the invitation actually arrived after the assassination but the owner kept this invitation for the last 45 years. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a truly unique piece of history that is bound to increase in value in the years to come.
