This is an original set of two license plates distributed as part of the 1961 inauguration celebration of John F. Kennedy as President of the United States. Each plate is numbered. It is increasingly difficult to find matched pairs with identical numbers. These are numbers we have in stock are 2192. The plates are manufactured in red white and blue with an american flag and u.s. capitol graphic on the left side in metal. This is the official District of Columbia plate.

The 1961 inaugural plates were valid from November 15, 1960 through January 31, 1961
