Availability: In stock

Scarce original program from the Red, White and Blue Luncheon held in honor of Senator John F Kennedy under the sponsorship of the Women's Division of the State Democratic Committee at the Hotel Commodore, New York City, September 14, 1960. Essentially a fundraising luncheon.

The program itself is of interest to collectors, but it also contains the inscription and original signature of Ethel Kennedy, widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated while running for nomination as Democratic presidential candidate in 1968. The inscription reads "For Mrs. McNamara - With very best wishes from all the Kennedy's Especially Ethel".

In addition the opposing page is signed by Susan Wagner, the first lady of New York City and wife of Mayor Robert Wagner. In addition. there is a third signature that is very light and we do not recognize it but you can view it in the photos.
