    Original button made for the 1967 homecoming of the aircraft carrier USS John F Kennedy (CV-67). The ship was cristened May 27, 1967. There are two size varieties of this button that we are aware of. This one, which measures 2 1/8" in diameter, and a second one that measures 2 1/2" in diameter.

    Anti John F Kennedy, and the entire Kennedy family, attack brochure produced by the Republican Action Fund, Washington D.C. "Ever since John F. Kennedy and his rocking chair moved in the White House, the nation has been going nowhere with dizzying speed". The brochure was aimed at raising funds for the Republican Party to combat a JFK re-election. Very few post 1960 inauguration anti/attack pieces exist since JFK's re-election campaign was obviously preempted by his Assassination. Original. two-sided, six panel brochure.

  12. Kennedy Assassination Dinner Ticket

    Original item from famous "Texas Welcome Dinner' that was scheduled to be held in Austin Texas on the date of John F.Kennedy's assassination. It was Kennedy's next stop in Texas and unfortunately had to be canceled due to the assassination of the President. This is the original ticket form sent to democratic contributors and VIP's to attend the event with Kennedy and Vice President Johnson. The event was sponsored by the Texas State Democratic Executive Committe. The order card and accompanying return envelope are both in excellent condition and both are included in this sale.
  13. Texas Welcome Dinner Program

    This is the program produced by the Texas Democrat Party to commemorate the event that was scheduled to be held in Austin Texas on the day of Kennedy's assassination. The event was obviously never held and souvenirs and remembrances from this event are coveted by collectors. The program was to be held in honor of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johson and their wives November 22, 1963 a the Munipal Auditorium, Austin Texas. Beautifully printed, with seals of the President, Vice President and Texas Governor John Connolly in bronze and black at the top. This program is not in perfect shape (see our description) so we have priced it much lower than we normally would, so it is an excellent opportunity to acquire this excellent historic item at a much lower investment.

    John F. Kennedy: Runnymede Memorial Dedication Book, 1965. Limited edition privately printed for Jacqueline Kennedy containing Queen Elizabeth's dedicatory remarks. Red Moroccan leather, 8" x 10.75," 18 pp, December 1965. On May 14, 1965, At the ceremony, attended by Jacqueline Kennedy, her children, Robert and Edward Kennedy and their families, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth said, "Here at Runnymede 750 years ago Magna Carta was signed. Among the earliest Statutes, it has rightly been regarded as the corner stone of those liberties which later became enshrined in our system of democratic Government under the rule of law. This is a part of the heritage which the people of the United States of America share with us. Therefore it is altogether fitting that this should be the site of Britain's memorial to the late President John F. Kennedy, for, as leader of his great nation, he championed liberty in an age when its very foundations were being threatened on a universal scale." Remarks delivered at the dedication by Former Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and US Secretary of State Dean Rusk. On the last page of the book are printed these words, Just one hundred copies of this volume were privately printed and bound for Mrs. John F. Kennedy. December, 1965. Truly fine original condition.
  15. John F Kennedy Assassination House Report

    Scarce complete set of the thirteen volumes of the 1979 U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) report on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Published by the U.S. Government Printing Office on behalf of the House of Representatives. The set consists of the final report and the 12 volumes of hearings and exhibits. The report concluded the President Kennedy was "probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy." We doubt you would ever find a complete set in better condition. They do not look like they have ever been opened. Original piece of history. If you are located internationally, however this collection is heavy so please check with us first for your shipping cost.
  16. Kennedy Assassination Trade Mart Collectible

    A scarce and sought after raised invitation to the event that John F. Kennedy was scheduled to appear at in Dallas Texas on November 22, 1963 the day of the President's assassination. It is numbered on reverse. In 1967, someone, on the day of the issuance of a U.S. Postage stamp affixed the postage stamp to the upper right of the invitation and had it postmarked at a postal substation in Dallas Texas, where the assassination occurred. Truly a remarkable bit of history.
  17. Kennedy Assassination Trade Mart Invitation

    A scarce and sought after invitation to the event that John F. Kennedy was scheduled to appear at in Dallas Texas on November 22, 1963 the day of the President's assassination. President Kennedy was on his way to the Trade Mart luncheon to be held in his honor when he was shot. This is a numbered invitation (see reverse) On the front of the invitation is the John F. Kennedy memorial stamp that was later affixed and postmarked on the First Day of Issue, in Dallas Texas, the scene of his assassination. Truly a remarkable bit of history. The invitation includes a business card from Bert Shipp of WFAA-TV 8. Shipp who was an iconic Texas news reporter, and worked for one of the stations covering Kennedy's arrival in Texas.

    Original Press badge ticket that grants press privileges to the Texas Welcome Dinner that was scheduled to beheld in Austin Texas on November 22, 1963 but cancelled when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Black and gold pass with white print bears says "Texas Welcome Dinner honoring President and Mrs. Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs. Johnson Sponsored by the State Democratic Executive Committee of Texas.     The original program to the event in Austin Texas that was planned for 7:30 p.m.on November 22, 1963, the day that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The dinner never took place, but the few remaining items command the attention of collectors around the world. This sixteen page program is in truly very good condition with only minor wear on the front and back covers. The program includes a forward by John B. Connally the Governor of Texas who was also shot along with Kennedy in the motorcade in Dallas Texas, the program of events, photos and biographices of Kennedy and soon to be President Lyndon Johnson, Jacquieline Kennedy and much more. A truly historic and scarce piece of history.
  20. Texas Welcome Dinner Invitation

    This is an original invitation to perhaps the most famous event that never took place. The Texas Welcome Dinner schedule for November 22nd 1963 in Austin Texas. President John F. Kennedy was headed next to Austin for this event sponsored by The State Democratic Executive Committee. The young President was assassinated that day and the event never took place. This is an original and official invitation to the event that includes the original envelope mailed November 6th from Austin Texas to a business owner in Texas and forwarded to their new address in Wichita Falls on November 11th. It is not known whether the invitation actually arrived after the assassination but the owner kept this invitation for the last 45 years. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a truly unique piece of history that is bound to increase in value in the years to come.
  21. Oswald Arrested "The Case Is Cinched" JFK Assassination UPI Report

    Dramatic original United Press International (UPI) teletype announcing that police stated that they were convinced the the 24-year-old Lee Harvey Oswald, an ex- marine shot President Kennedy. The teletype stated that Oswald had worked in the Texas School Depository building from which the fatal shots were fired and that a rifle was found on the sixth floor stairwell of the building. This is an original teletype from that very day, along with a photo pf Oswald holding the rifle that some believe may have been the one that killed the President, along with a commemorative bronze plaque. .   22. Kennedy assassination ticket

    President John F. Kennedy was scheduled to attend this special dinner held in his honor for the evening of his assassination. This is a actual original ticket to the event called the "Texas Welcome Dinner in honor of John F. Kennedy. This ticket is accompanied by the original letter to a ticket buyer on the official letterhead of the State Democratic Executive Committee, the organization that ran the event. The letter is dated November 12, 1963 and was issued to one of the individuals working in the office. You seldom see both items together and the number on the ticket matches the number on the letter. The 3 x 4 inch gold ticket with black lettering reads in full: "The State Democratic Executive Committee Texas Welcome Dinner In Honor of President John F. Kennedy and/ Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson Municipal Auditorium City of Austin Seven-Thirty O'Clock/Friday Evening November 22, 1963 Admit One Optional Dress." The ticket is printed "No. D 13123" in the lower right corner. Certainly one of the key historic events in American history. We have seen these tickets offered for over $1,200. This ticket is in very good condition with a paper clip indent at the top where the clip attaches the ticket to the letter.
