Heavy 3.75" width buckle labeled "First Edition" numbered on the reverse and also engraved 24K GP on the reverse. The front features a John F. Kennedy gold plated commemorative coin in the center. At the top it says "An American" and beneath the portrait is an eagle with outstretched arms and 1917 - 1963 the year of JFK's birth and assassination below. On the left is an eagle and U.S. Flag and below that a graphic of PT109 and inscription that syas "March 1943 as Lieutenant was given command of PT-109. To the right of the coin is a U.S. space craft and the inscription May 1961 Proposed U.S. Space Program Land team on Moon. Original.
